GCSE PORTRAITURE project focusing on material uses

Suitable as a basis for a school Christmas card design for KS3 and KS4. Starting points, L/Objective and L/Outcomes and themes for each year group.

A PowerPoint plan for the term focusing on colour theory- can be used with year 5/6/7/8 to practice their painting and mixing skills. Also includes starters and plenaries and assessment opportunities for drawing and applying tints and shades.

This resource can be done with whichever year group are focusing on pop art. Worked very well as an ILP for year 11 and 12.

Drawing small objects from different views

Requires students to work from every day objects and layer them, creating a piece that can be made into a hot and cold oil pastel creation. Helps with colour mixing, differentiation, knowledge of another artist and use of different materials. Feel free to alter as this can be done with year 8 upwards.
